Why are your fees higher than other title companies I've worked with in the past?
R.E.D. Title LLC, charges one base fee per side and does not charge any additional fees for remote closings regardless of the location and there are NO hidden fees. This allows for no surprises or shortages at the closing table and lenders can balance the settlement statement efficiently without worrying about last minute document prep fees, delivery fees, or any unexpected charges from title.
The fastest and easiest way to submit earnest money and option fees is simply by wire. Please see our wire send & receive instruction form. You may also deposit your earnest and option fees at any local Chase Bank. If you are an A-list client we can schedule our pick up and deposit service. Our corporate headquarters is located in Houston, TX at CityCentre! However, all of our escrow officers work remotely and are mobile. We go to our clients, we do not require our clients to come to us. We are available in the office by appointment only.
Of course you can! We are a cloud-based title company supported by AI. Our primary communication is via live chat, email and text, giving us the ability to keep an accurate record of the transaction. However, anytime a party to a transaction needs to speak to a live human you can request a call through live chat.
If you are unable to fill out our digital forms such as the buyer, seller, and real estate agent information sheet using a laptop or mobile device we can set up a time for someone from our escrow team to reach out and work with you to fill out the form. The information requested in our digital form is necessary to process your transaction quickly and efficiently. When we have completed the digital form we will email you a copy of the form requesting your signature on the form to confirm the information is correct. Also we will request a copy of your driver's license to confirm identity of the person we received the information from. To receive a wire on closing a wire information form must be completed with signature. If the wire information form is not complete within 24 hours of closing, we will have a check sent to the address provided in the buyer, seller, real estate agent information sheet. For real estate agents we will send check to brokers registered office.
